Wide range of new Hewlett-Packard consumer inkjet products to be available by Christmas

Issue #0431/2 - In the inkjet arena, multifunction machines dominate, compounding the emphasis on multifunctionality in both home and small office environments. Five of the seven new machines are multifunction and only one product is a traditional single function, general purpose printer. The final machine can be put to general use but is classified as a photo printer.

Issue #0431/3 - Billed as “the biggest mono rollover ever”, a wide range of new laser printer models from Hewlett-Packard are currently hitting the market. Comprising five new mono models and two new colour models (with several configurations available for each model), Hewlett-Packard is again bringing increased speed and print quality to the market.

Issue #0431/4 - One of Hewlett-Packard’s new laser printer models, the 19ppm mono LaserJet 1160 has been launched with a CPP that is extraordinarily high at 3.74 pence. It is so high partly because cartridge yield is restricted to a standard 2,500 page cartridge.
